Couldnt resist getting this... (also the 80cc conversion )
Perfectly legal here, no tax, insurance or anything - you have to wear a cycle helmet though ...

2 year warranty - as is everything here.. so the little chinese motor has a full backup.. the store has loads of them, been selling them for 4 years now..
We kept seeing them in the villages in th emountains and wondered what they were...
Anyway, now the proud owner of this 'mean machine with HUGE Ninja motor' (y) :p
Check out the super cool disc brake lol :)

Cant get the small enough frame for the bride's bike, so ordering a kit off ebay to convert a standard 22" frame bike..

Alloy wheels as well !! seriously !! :ROFLMAO:

Tidy thing - but is that a 2-stroker? Looks like 25cc maybe. Wouldn't be legal here sadly but looks fun.

You get a few folks converting pushbikes using the 4-stroke Honda GXH-50 cement mixer motor (and the Chinese copy). Best I saw was someone using the 2-stroke Kawa engine off a 30 year old 12-inch Flymo. That bike flew.

lol, yeah, the Kawa would be ace !!

*edit - yeah, these are all 2 stroke !
The engine as standard is 40cc, but mine is fitted with the 80cc unit.. I looked at the uk rules and couldnt believe they are not legal  - I mean - crazy - some guy had to get number plates and reg doc insurance etc etc in uk..
Here, they are perfectly legal - and popular in the boonies- and classed exactly as a pushbike.
You would only be pulled, and quite rightly, for having a silly pipe on it making it rathe noisy to say the least.. as they are, they are great fun and fairly quiet.. I am just under 17 stone, and it pulls me around no worries (thats on the 40 !!!) does slow down a tad on hills lol - but keeps going) hence the 80 conversion....
Bride is having the 40 but that will be a custom mod as this bike only comes in 26" wheels - the one shown - they do do a chopper version lol .. but I am a tad old for that...:D - Brides will be custom 22 inch wheel version with a conversion kit I have just ordered from ebay. Get the TIG out and make the frame fit the engine as opposed to the other way around - saw a good bike as a candidate for her today at 75 euros - steel frame, alloy wheels, - so thats on order too. Really good fun to ride, and surprisingly good performance - will actually do about 50kph, but thats pushing it - mind you - of course there are all the tuning bits and gear options - but for me, it is fine... gonna make a little trailer for the back with 20" bike wheels for taking trash to recycle place - only about 300 mtrs..

Really neat, and well put together - frame is a french design - specifically for the chinese kits - there are loads of the kits on ebay from just over 100 quid.
From talking to folk here who have had them a few years, they seem pretty robust - surprisingly !..
heres the 'Harley' version lol...

Absolutely SUPERB mate.. really mint... (y)
Have you restored her ? - and how long have you had her ?

Bought it as a non runner last October hence why I have been quite on the panda front, engine, brakes, suspension, cables all replaced left the patina bodywork as loved the look and tells the story of the bike.
Got it mot'd and registered last month and enjoying it big time! (y)

Amazing job, and I think you got a perfect balance between restoration and originality - that takes some doing !!!.
A credit to ya .:)

Enjoy .

There are some truly weird and wonderful old bikes around here in the villages in the mountains. half the time I have no idea what they are - they run great, but the bike is total rust coloured from paint fade - not rotton al all, just surface - many cars are the same.

Might bid on a few - thats how I got the put put (Piaggio) - it was parked up and obviously hadnt moved for quite a time.. find the owner - make a bid.
Brings back memories of my 'yoof' .
