Alrite folks, my exhaust is on its way out. the flex is coming apart but not yet leaking, and the backbox has a bad case of tin worm. So do I get a stainless exhaust made, or buy parts off the shelf? Had a center section priced at £84. Not pricee a rear yet, but if I get that center section then might get an ulter sport backbox.

Go Stainless, it will not need replacing again as long as you own it, and you can use it as a selling aid later on (if you decide to flog it.

I would agree. Stainless. Will last a lot longer and the ulter seems quite popular.
My back box is looking a bit rusty so will be going stainless when it needs replacing.

stainless wont add no value to the car so if you don't intend to keep the car for years it could be false economy

True, but if someone is looking at two similar pandas and one has a stainless and one has an original, might be swayed to stainless.

My decision is leaning more towards the stainless. Ive had a few before and my last car sounded real nice but not loud. £300 for a cat back aint too bad either and a nice lifetime warranty as usual. Pros weight up good with stainless..

Stainless everytime.
