Hi Charlie, we all had a great day, the 2wd pandas did really well, with just one of them having a little trouble with the mud, the Cross had no traction issues, so has now been proven in snow and now mud and slopes. The classic 4wd Pandas were also very good on and off road. I will certainly do it again but may take mk4 next time, see what it's made of.

Great pics Jason!

All of you guys and gals in the Panda section are hereby encouraged to come on the next off-road meet - trust me you will love it and you'll be amazed what your car can do

Have a look through our album or more of the action from the whole weekend...

Just wondering what you thought of the 14" wheels? I imagine you loose some of the low gear ratio which could potentially have been useful in off roading. But does the bigger wheel size make up for that in agility over larger obstacles?
I am digging the idea of the 14" wheels and large tyres just for the extra clearance.

I would like to throw my hat in for any future event please, infact I watched in envy the you tube video from last year. If any one knows of any green laning areas I could practise on, that would be great. I have M&S tyres on my current 1.3 JTD, but don't fancy tackling the real mud sections without some support or backup first.

2WD have to keep moving so are more at risk of bodywork dings & dinks. $x$s can crawl (should crawl) over the bad stuff. Too much Clarkson foot = dug into the spot and needing a tow.
