Technical Panda HID problem

Technical Panda HID problem

Why?..

And to be honest i'd rather the police spent their expensive and precious time pulling up drivers with no insurance /bald tyres /no mot etc ... in other words things that actually are dangerous and take money from your pocket, like I said earlier HID's are annoying but that's about it as far as i'm concerned.
I was Joking Gav...:p - although they do look terrible ... :D

I agree with you on the actions of the police apart from hids - and the ultrabright led fad at the mo - LEDs are no use to the driver, but blinding to others due to point focus; I also do not agree with the tinting of rear lights - or any lights.. As most are not delcared, that would fall into no insurance too. The legality of such is also not proven
Items such as the above that are of a degree to cause ANY lack of original function are all indicative of a driver with little road sense or consideration of other road users. They are a hazard and should certainly occupy valuable police time.

I find the current 'fairylight' fad to be much more annoying than the odd badly fitted HID kit and there seems to be a direct correlation between said 'fairylights' and aggressive boorish driving, more often than not perpetrated by drivers of large high powered German cars than over enthusiastic and slightly lacking in experience and common sense younger drivers.

Well, since we are generalising ;) ... I find that there is usually a direct correlation between the appearance of the vehicle and it's errr, lets say 'additions' and also the abilities of the driver and common sense (generalising of course)(y)

For instance, take your car - it has a touch of 'class' about it - seriously -It screams out sensible, sorted, normal type person ... (ha !) ... now take some of the 'examples' we see from time to time that the only thing they have about them is a touch of 'mange' ..(the ram raided Halford specials, or black tractor wheels, Hids, Blacked out lights, go faster badges etc etc).... now, if we were generalising ... one could possibly say that the driver of such a vehicle was probably at the rear end of the queue when both common sense and IQ were being handed out...
But, of course, that is generalising, and cant be correct - can it ? - I mean, you are not 'responsible for your actions with the nuns' when visiting the convent where you park !!... >>

Rain and a rag...
A sight to see at 70mph! Safety harness required.

I think the insurance companies agree, hence their increased premiums for such mods.

:yeahthat:

Also same for black crap kits on rear lights (never mind certain idiots 'tinting' the front !). They are there (the lights) for a reason. Anyone buggering up those lights by fitting bits of dark pastic or spray should have the vehicle removed from them. - Along with their license to drive.
Not that I think not having a license or indeed insurance would in the least affect the majority of the type of people who do this in the first place

certain idiots, assuming your implying me????
Shall we talk about you? or the way you drive? or the car you drive? anything? Because not everyone can actually drive very well. you just might be one of them. and to be honest someone using fly eyes all around there car which is a legal kit and doesn't make any different to the lightening pattern OR the brightness of the bulbs themselves AS YOU KNOW (because you know everything) is less annoying to others as it makes no difference as its just aesthetic's to the car AND is far far far less annoying than your rubbish childish rants. Try researching. Just because you don't understand or don't know does not make it wrong. It makes it YOUR opinion!

Go on a forum to enjoy cars and everything that goes with them.
Go ride a cycle if you want to talk rubbish because quite frankly no one wants to hear it.

Hegnirst mate,
Its really not worth it and getting riled about it.

I am on numerous forums, car, photography, Tech & even work related and there will always be someone with an opinion on everything.

The more you respond the more they try to wind you up.
Enjoy your car, do what YOU like to it, ignore the drivel and rise above the pointless comments.

You'll feel so much better for it. :)

Hmmm, you speak much sense here.... like the people who buy crap number plates and then mess about with them to try and make them look cooool. Go on, grab your baseball cap and swivel it backwards - there, suits you sir :)

Ha!

(I must however confess to owning a private plate of my own - correctly spaced of course officer (y))

Will, thats the reason why I asked u to join Facebook group. Guys like that get kicked out very quick there. Also, just think of it this way - u can always take that baseball cap off but being an as***le is like family, its for life... :D

Seriously though if you drive a car that maybe has a few mods or even "black wheels", that doesn't mean you can't drive!

Anyway, back on topic, I'm sure the OP knows where his dipswitch is and knows how to use it appropriately - I hope you get your HIDs sorted and you continue to enjoy them responsibly (y)

Now when I were a lad we had Cibie Super Oscars :worship: - like bloomin searchlights strapped to the front of your car and absolutely brilliant until you had to go onto dip - which was suddenly like driving by candlelight in comparison
