Just bought a pair of Bosch wipers from GSF, cost me £12 the pair (16 and 23") but fitting them was a nightmare. I snapped the flimsy connector of the first one but managed to get the original FIAT plastic clip to fit the new wiper arm did this on both and fitted perfectly. The plastic clip on the originals are far better quality than the ones on the universal Bosch ones.

Spent a good hour on it though :( They seem to work a lot better than the old ones, they are completely silent but I am not sure how long they will last.

All I need to do now is decide what to about the MOT.

I managed to fit Bosch Aerotwin wipers to my car with no fuss at all, even when it was cold outside and I could barely feel my fingers it only took about 5 mins to do both sides. Maybe the other type of Bosch wipers are different?

I do have to agree about them being silent though, they really are fantastic wipers (y)!

I have never changed them before so that was probably why it was so difficult, noticed from the Amazon reviews I have not been the only one to snap the clips.

Possibly, I am sure these are genuine though, GSF have over 50 branches so they are not going to buy their wipers from a white van. These ones are made in Belgium.

I assure you, they will buy from anywhere that is cheap... never believe what it says on the box etc..
About 10 years ago fake parts were found on Airforce one ! :D - and they look after that one fairly well, and supposedly vetted the suppliers...

I think ALL the big part companies in the UK are selling whatever they can get their hands on - if someone proved them to be fake, they would just plead ignorance.... I mean, the Banks are huge companies, and they are 100% honest  - just like Estate Agents and car salesmen :D
And of course, politicians, plumbers, electricians, builders,........... (y)

I girl and had no problem whatsoever changing to Bosch Aerotwins (all on my own)! :ROFLMAO:

That's dedication to making your car as good as possible :)(y)

With the new Abarth in the first few weeks I had a few stone chips (very thin paint). So I had a body shop sort the chips and the bonnet wrapped to prevent further chipping. Theres no time to hang around, no car (Fiats in particular) come with good parts from the factory as standard.
