Hi Guys

I would like to fit either Xenon or Projector(xenon's) on my 2006 Trekking!

Can any one give me an idea of how to get the lights removed from the car?

You need to remove the front bumper to remove the headlight unit.

Shouldn't need to remove to upgrade to xenon filament bulbs though (y)

Unless you're thinking HIDs? If so then there will be a lot of work required to install projectors within the headlight units, but I think that someone on here has managed it once.

I forgot to clarify, Xenons I refer to are HID's no filament bulb can come CLOSE!!
A pity guys sell knockoff tinted bulbs and claim it to be Xenon's and ever gas filled is a hoax 'cos you need more than 10 000 v to get Xenon gas burning!

A problem occurred with me 10 thumbs! Is there a step by step route I could follow to remove the bumper cover ?
I think I will go with the Projector Hid(xenon) route with angle eye's

I guess I have to butcher the headlight bulb cover at the back of the light
Eh?

there is 4 tx 30 or 35 bolts underneath, every screw needs to come of, one under bumper trim on the sides (clips of). 2 in the wheel arch cover and a further two bolts right at the top inside the wheel arch cover near the side of the light and four along the top valance. i think thats all of them anyway lol
