Hi
When fitting new rear wheel bearings to your Panda, please be aware that according to the manual (Haynes and Fiat e-learn) that they advise changing the whole hub.

What they don't tell you is that some new hubs don't come with the ABS rotor fitted. So you have to very gingerly, prise it off and refit it to the new hub. It looks like an external oil seal and is the same kind of fit so extreme care is the order of the day.

None of this is mentioned in either manual!!!

Of course, you could buy one with the rotor fitted, but over the internet, who's to know(like me!).

They do however, in both manuals, insist quite rightly, that the hub nut be renewed during the procedure and a new one is usually supplied with the hub.

Also, make sure that your torque wrench goes up to 280nm as most of the standard 1/2 inch drive ones only go up to 200nm. I had to hire one and it came with a 3/4 inch fitting, with the resultant faffing around for the right sized socket!!

Hope this saves someone a bit of time and brain grinding when changing bearings!!

Best Rgds
