At one time, everyone seemed to have one of these ?
I want one to 'throw' in the car for MES - not literally throw it... - but to keep in the car... ;) -
If someone has a small model with win 7 or even XP on and wants to sell, let me know.. preferably the ones with early ssd, but whatever..
Not a laptop, I have too many of them, the tiny netbook jobbies... MUST be microsoft.. must have usb ports. Bluetooth would be useful but not essential.
There are some on ebay but they are on drugs I think :rolleyes:... (also UK Keyboard !)
Where did they all go ???
Will pay a reasonable price for a mint jobby and postage to Portugal -

have a nice samsung netbook with windows 7 already on it, also MES will probably be selling it after i come back from hawaii at end of next month, if you dont get sorted let me know then
 
See if you can get one of the original ASUS 701 eeePC's - they shipped with Linux but run XP well enough.

I've got one which I modified to boot & run XP off an SD card, I can run it in different configurations for different purposes just by swapping cards.

They have three external USB ports & also internal USB connections on the motherboard; you can solder in nano usb devices like bluetooth dongles & HID controllers if you want to keep the external ports free.

If you manage to get one, send me a PM if you need XP drivers for it.

Many thanks guys, I will try for the win 7 one first from Jon (pm sent mate) as the Multiplexed version of MES with CanTieCar interface strugles on XP with the various drivers - no worries on 7.
