I can see where you're coming from. A glass roof definitely makes a small car feel more spacious.

One solution would be a 500 lounge, but they're poor value secondhand and would likely be outside your budget.

Glad someone sees my rationale I like the 500L as a cross between the 500 and the panda, but yes too expensive.

Am I right in thinking they killed off the skydome in the new panda?

Ye gads, come and live in Portugal, last thing you want is a bloody sun roof - a beach umbrella would be better.... Our Yacht had a glass panel in the cabin top, It doesn't now - we try to keep out of the sun most of the time.

Have you been on one? I really doesn't let that much more light in IMO.

100HP has slightly tinted rear windows doesn't it? So if its light you want then its not 100HP you want

They're pretty significantly tinted to be honest. Admittedly, they're not "limo" tint dark, but if you put similar tint on the front I doubt you'd be able to drive past an officer of the law without being pulled over and made to remove it.

Saying that, even with tinted rear windows and no Skydome, my 100HP is a plenty light and airy enough place to spend time.

We have the Pan roof in our 100hp. It is nice and despite the climate control, we still have it open occasionally on both days of summer when driving out in the hills.


They come with sun blinds of course, though as we're not in Portugal, they've never been closed.

Another plus for the SkyDome here (also have the supersized version on the Croma and the fixed Glass on the esseesse) but don't let it rule that it has to be that particular 100HP just because it has it.

So you're saying the black tint is done via blinds and you can remove the tint?

No... The panoramic roof comes with sunblinds that can be opened and shut.
