So my drivers side washer ain't working. What I'm noticing is that the wee bit at the side popped out every time i spray front window and water sprays out that instead of the normal bit.. HELP.

It's not blocked, squeeze the inner end of the bit that's fallen out a little with pliers and then reinsert. Adjust and you're sorted.

I've done the pin thing as this happened to one of my puma's This is the part that pops out ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1393775144.920807.jpg
It's the what actually looks like the holes for the washer on the wee barrel thing

Its forzen at some point and been damaged by the expanding water.

Can be obtained from Fiat and replaced cheaply. (y)

At which point they'll just do the same thing usually. Best to give the inner end a little squeeze with pliers which makes it a tighter fit and ensures it never happens again, this is what the dealer did to mine about 4 years ago and they've not popped out since.

Not if you don't let them freeze :p

on a slightly more serious note.... ;)

How is a heated washer jet going to stop the liquid freezing ? - for example -
At night, if it freezes, problem occurs, end expands allowing it to pop out yes ? -

Surely this is more down to the fluid mix..... ?
(I vaguely remember freezing:))

So just go to fiat dealer and get now washer jets? It's soo funny, spraying the window and the water shoots out the side where that wee barrel is lol

But they're only hot when the car is going. The point @captainslarty was making is how does this help over night etc when parked.

Your not driving it overnight when its parked, the golf's were electrically heated so as soon as you switch on the ignition they would defrost the nozzle jet, if you have a decent amount of screenwash in the mix then it won't freeze in the lines.

Phoned the local dealer there....£10.32 each incl vat. I'm gona get of eBay, there is one on there for £5 or so for 2 and including p&p
