Hi there

I recently bought some leads and downloaded Multiecuscan and have come up with the following codes (I cleared them yesterday but they have reappeared today) -

They only issue I am having with the car is slight hesitation when I press the accelerator which isn't noticeable when driving.

Thanks

Tim

P0235 - boost pressure sensor (stored)

Boost control solenoid or boost pressure sensor faulty
The fault is not detected now, but it is stored in memory. Clear fault codes, and observe for future appearance of the same fault. Dashboard warning light was not activated for this fault.

P0704 Clutch switch - invalid signal - stored

Clutch pedal switch signal circuit malfunction
The reason for this fault is that ECU has received invalid signal from the sensor. The fault is not detected now, but it is stored in memory. Clear fault codes, and observe for future appearance of the same fault. Dashboard warning light was not activated for this fault.

P1555 - signal low stored

The reason for this fault is that ECU has received very low signal from the sensor. The fault is not detected now, but it is stored in memory. Clear fault codes, and observe for future appearance of the same fault. Dashboard warning light was not activated for this fault.

Is it revving when the clutch is out and you have just put it into gear? Could be the clutch slipping and on its way out.

Hi

Thanks for the replies - the hesitation happens when I am in neutral and the engine is at idle and I blip the accelerator. Car has done 34k and the clutch feels fine (no slipping)

Not sure what the boost code is for - I did a bit of googling and it seems it could relate to the MAP sensor but can't find anything definitive - I thought it might be connected to the hesitation problem above.

Thanks

Tim

you are not connecting properly, those are the 'simulate codes' from multiecuscan - not a proper reading. !!!!!
Can you see your OBDC device in settings ? and does the test work ok for the device.
I can give you help for the Cantiecar version (the Multiplex full version) that I use, but I have no idea of the settings for a simple single interface.
You must have clicked on simulate - if you try it now, without the interface connected, you will get the same fault codes (they are just examples).

When properly setup in the car, plugged in, ignition on, Cick on connect or press F10, NOT SIMULATE.

Thanks for that - I had clicked on Simulate as it said I need to upgrade from the free copy I have. I wasn't sure what simulate meant in the context it was used....

Hi Timbo, no worries, I think the free should do the job ok ?? it is only certain units it will not see or connect to. I never used it though, I went straight for the MUX version. It will pay for itself the first time you have a problem.
It is great fun sat in the car turning lights on and off on the dash etc from the laptop.. :) ..
Iyt also saved me several thousand quid as my last Panda (2010 1.1 eco) was clocked ... dash ecu 32000 Km, Engine ecu (master reading) 118,000 !!!!!.
Needless to say they gave me my money back in full, it was that or the fuzz, and they have big guns over here and dont like clockers lol :) ... seriously good piece of kit - every fiat owner that wants to know more about his / her car should have one... incredible stuff.
Best of luck with it.
Cap.
