Just a quick question, are the rear shockers the same for all Panda models?

My 100HP has just failed its MOT because of worn bushes, I've never heard any knocking or noises but to be honest I don't drive it very often.

Motor factors are telling me it is the same part for the 1.1 as it is for the 1.4, is that correct?

Very conflicting information from the various local budget suppliers.

But I think I've found that the 100HP are different.

Fiat part code - 50708433.

Pattern part code - 343486.

I'll read up on past threads tonight about the opinions on the various brands. The genuine ones have only lasted 27K so maybe they are not the best option?

They are different. 100hp needs 100hp specific shocks.

Can't you change just the bushes, or get some made up

Would be cheaper than replacing the whole shock.

They are out of stock, it's a shame because they are fairly local.

You'd think that would be possible but Fiat don't sell the bush separately. They'd prefer to charge £225 fitted for 2 new shocks.

If you measure up the void in the shock eye, you should be able to get universal ploy bushes to fit with a stainless tube insert through the middle for the bolt, they should outlast the shocks!

There are a few suppliers of universal poly bushes.

Just buy a set of Koni's from Larkspeed, etc. I paid £90'ish for mine delivered. That's for both sides before anyone asks!
