He said i could have it at that price, I am struggling to know whats the best one to go for on ebay/autotrader and all the other sites its a job i don't look forward to.

From the photos and specification I'd say it is OK. It isn't always that easy to find 1 owner cars with full main dealer service history and low mileage. The 1.2 Dynamic is a good compromise in my opinion.

Just looking for low cost transport that's reliable with low Tax/insurance cost and decent Mpg.

A different price to what you say, and front bumper doesn't look right - Might have been in a bump?

Doesn't do it for me at that price to be honest.

Headlights look different, thought door post should be black as well, mine are.
tell him you can go to 3k max, would be worth it with that mileage but would also do a mycartext check cost £3 and you are covered for £5k should anything be wrong with paperwork etc.

I wouldn't get caught up with the mileage, the Fiat FIRE engines are bullet proof and will easily see 200k+ miles if well maintained.

I agree with you about the fire engine BUT its not just the engine, mines done 33K and drives like new no bumps and bangs gearbox is still nice and positive selection etc. personaly i would try for 3K cash and see how you go. I know people who have bought off them (being local to me) and not had any problems and if they did was sorted out with no fuss

Tried 3k but no go

well no one can tell you right way to go, if you like it and can afford it - buy it -
personaly dont like the colour- i wanted a blue one - under 40K on clock - FIRE engine was non negotiable ( had 2 puntos before both fire engine - belt went unexpectidly -- new belt fitted and off she went ) bought blue dynamic 32k fire engine - got aircon as added bonus - group 1 insurance £200 a year fully comp (punto same engine was group 7) - drive it and if it feels good BUY IT

I live a lot further away so don't wish to keep traveling back and forwards and now i am on a count down as Thursday is the last day i can run my car as my mot will run out.

Which models have the fire engine ?

8v engines are fire engine, there are 16v versions but the safe one is the 1.2 8v belt goes and no damage
full list of fire engines can be found below

:yeahthat: 1.1 is safe also.

All Petrol Pandas have FIRE engines, the 16v is the SUPER FIRE engine.

Just wanted to confirm, as it was confusing, 8v FIRE engines are safe and none interference in the Mk3 Panda of this age, the SUPER FIRE is not safe and is an interference.
