I've tried scanning an airbag fault on a 2004 1.1 Panda using MES. As instructed I used the red adaptor with my ELM, but it failed saying that I needed OBDkey or K-Line cable. Any idea's what they are? I never got either when I got MES and the other cables that came with it. Anyone any idea's whats up here or am I doing something wrong.

The fault with the car is that both bag warning lights come on and go out intermittently. Any likely candidates for this too?

I'm gonna assume you are using a ELM327 adaptor which is fine for connecting to the engine ecu but doesn't work for the airbag ecu

See my punto airbag light reset video for full instructions on this, you will need to get hold of a 'vagcom' cable

Many thanks for that, I'll order that VAGcom cable today. I looked at the video you showed and a separate one where part of the loom that connects to the passenger isolation switch is replaced on a MK2 Punto. Does this modification apply to the Panda too? Both bag lights come on intermittently while driving, and then go out.. I won't take any action though till I've gotten some fault codes first
