Hi all,

I have searched and can't find a straight through magnetti centre pipe for my 100hp so I have taken matters into my own hands!

I received a very good quote from a welder near my workplace to weld in a straight bit of pipe to replace my centre box.

Has anyone done similar as I was wondering the length of pipe needed.

I'm looking at doing similar, I've already had my rear box cut out and a piece if pipe welded in in place and it burbles nicely, but I was thinking about finding another mid section and getting someone to weld a straight bit in that and keeping mine to go back on if I sell it..

I purchased my Magneti Marelli centre pipe from Shop4parts back in March.
It was £92.66 + VAT part number S4P4770
or you can get a Raggazzon centre pipe from Gazella Racing

Okay I've booked it in to be done tomorrow but he only has a straight off cut to fit which is 46mm, he has no problem welding this my concern is will the slight reduction in bore cost me in power?

Ps all in its costing me £30!

Hi dude, so do you still have the cat and this pipe just replaces the very big middle box?? What to replace that but still want it to go through MOT's ok? Did it make much difference to the exhaust note???

It replaces the centre silencer and starts with the flexi bit. The sound is awesome there us a video on my project thread from cold. When it's warm it has a nice subtle tone with a few pops and bangs. I am looking forward to the standard backbox dropping off so I can replace it
