Cracking work. Since having my 100hp I've thought it could do with a little turbo. Good Job.

Very neat, I'm impressed, especially at the price. As an aside, is there room for the AC condenser between the headlights? Obviously you would need holes in the upper "radiator grill" but if you figured out how to fit a turbo I'm sure that wont be a problem for you.

It would be sat right next to the turbo if I put it there, I could probably move the bottom of the rad towards the back of the car and have the rad condenser and intercooler sat on a slight angle and I'd get it all in, I might have a go soon if I can get the thing started again!!

So i've been having a few ECU issues for the past couple of weeks. I was lucky enough to find an engine ECU, body control module, door handle with lock, ignition barrel, two keys, and the immobiliser key code card for £100 from poland.

Just fitted the two ECU's and swapped the transponder to my key, and she lives again!!


Only issue ive got i the brake fluid level light keeps coming on?? Any ideas?? I was gonna start having a look but the weather turned against me

That piggy back is well over twice the price of the DET 3 (which appears to be more fully featured).

But any ECU will only be as good as the person setting it up.

I paid less than the price of the DET for the aem, I did look at the DET but setting it up and sorting a base map looked a lot more difficult than it is with the AEM.

Someone reversed into the nearside wing tonight tho gonna have to get that sorted out.

How's the car doing atm Tim?

Mine has started crunching 2-3rd gear. Only 41k miles. Putting some Redline MTL in today which will hopefully buy me a bit more time.

Yea its doing good upped the boost to 8psi last weekend goes abit better but running quiet a lot of ignition retard because of lack of fuel. I NEED to get some bigger injectors!!

I've already been through a box in mine 3rd gear went, got it changed about 10000 miles ago.

How much did you pay for another box? Did you fit it yourself?

I don't know yet I'm gonna have to have a look around see what will fit/work.

I think i paid £150 for a second hand one then got someone to fit it for me.

I'd say Abarth 500 injectors must be your best bet.

I ran Bosch EV1's from a Porsche in mine.

What fuel are you using? Higher octane?

Finally got round to putting some 340cc injectors in. Got them straight out of a astra gsi.

I was under the impression that the panda had 165cc injectors but when I came to changing the map I had to put loads more fuel in it, as if the AEM ecu calculated it wrong? It would barely idle it was that lean!!

Running on V-power at the moment. Don't seem to be having any issues with it. After the injectors I took it to the extra long private road that everyone goes to and it kept pulling all the way past 130mph.

Just need to get the rest of the exhaust made then get it mapped properly on the rollers.
