Well not wanting to pay over £100 for an induction kit for my panda I made my own ebay version costing the grand sum of £7.99, Cut the original pipe (making sure you keep the old bit so you can reinstall the factory air box if needed) clamp ebay cheap as chips filter to end....hey presto induction kit!!

Yeah I understand what you are saying, but it sounds great, it is taking cold air directly from the original intake hole and genuinely feels snappier on the road, I like it....that's all that counts :)

How can it feel snappier if half of the air that goes in that is hot? Ur stock would be much better this option as it was actually feeding cold air in. U need a 90 bend on that to take cone away from the engine to the far right corner.

Hey I can't really explain how it feels, but my panda always felt a bit juddery in 2nd and 3rd gear at a steady throttle, it doesn't do that now, also if you feel the air temp around the filter after a journey it is actually quite cool around the filter area, it might be a different story in busy traffic.

I don't care if it gains or loses a couple of horses, it sounds great, it feels smoother and it cost bugger all so why not.

Just for the record I did actually try the £30 induction mod and the car felt the same as standard.

But each to their own eh:)

Just wanted to add this from k and ns website for the installation of their induction kit

This kit puts the filter in front of the engine, mine feeds straight from the hole in the front panel as the eBay filter also has a filter hole at the end. So yes I can see that it will be taking in more warm air from the engine than the factory fitted air filter, it will be getting more cool air than the k and n.
