So car all cleaned and ready for Carfest. Ill post up some pics tomorrow.

Copper greased up too but think everything needs to come off as still squeeking!

Carfest was awesome, well worth going if anyone wants to go next year.

Some pics from the day (this was my first proper Motorsport event so forgive me if the pics aren't great)

I live on Croston Road, 100 yards from the Leyland Trucks roundabout so more than likely if you have been around Leyland you'll have seen me!

However there is another white HP on Leyland Lane (just past the Tesco Express) that looks similar but has a magnetti marelli sticker on the boot instead of the abarth, Nurburgring, Guy Martin combo I have!

Only seen a black one loitering round the area other than that!

I could be the black one you see, I'm from Freckleton. I keep seeing a grey one with auto italia sticker on the bonnet in blackpool/poulton.

Same problem for me. Stripped the brakes down, scrubbed everything clean, copper slipped the pads and sliders and painted the calipers. Still ****ing squealing... I've bought some new front pads as I noticed my current ones don't have anti-squeal shims on. I got some Pagid ones from Eurocarparts for half price but not had chance to fit them yet.

I've not seen any other 100hps around the Fylde! Hopefully that will change next week though

The black one I keep seeing is usually on the M6 and I tend to run in to him as we both get off at J29, however the other day we had a little game of cat and mouse from around Wigan to Preston. It's a 08 I think.

Some of the squeeking has gone now these are on. Just needs a wash now!

You might have to strip the calipers down, give them a proper clean and then rebuild. Did you get new sliders with the new pads? Which pads did you go for?

I have been mega busy with work so got my local garage to do it, went with ferodo's feel is miles better just the infernal squeal still

Jumped in the car this morning and the oil pressure light came on as I chucked in to a roundabout, so first thoughts are get some oil in there as maybe a lack of oil?

Get to the motor factors on way to footie, light still on, 50quid for a bottle of oil, get back in and the bloody light is now out! Quick check oil is low, the car did sound a little tappetty on start up this morning. Have topped up with 0w40

Anyone else had this issue?

Started and ran fine after 10 secs or so, ran fine on way back too.

You must have thrown it hard into the roundabout!! I've had it a few times when the oil has been low! Like Dan said just check it because I noticed they use quite a lot! Even more so with a turbo

Five litres, it was the only correct weight they had.

Tim, it's a tight roundabout and had only just set off so still cold, not going overly quick but taking a very tight line. My son had forgotten his goalie gloves and we were late anyway! Ace!

Topped up now and all seems ok. Didn't realise they used oil as much as that Dan

Mine uses a bit of oil as well.

I've had the low fuel warning come up a couple of times, once on track and once on the road even though I had nearly half a tank! All of the fuel sloshing to one side must confuse it. The warning doesn't reset until you've put fuel in either.

Mine hasn't come on since, touch wood. Think just a little oil was needed. Sounds far less tappetty now too.

So today full winter service, tracking, tyres and koni sports and H&R's all round.
