For those who don't know, these are now available again.
www.torque7.co is your direction needed.
Received mine today....fitted it and just back from a sunny blat.
Increase throttle response. Noticeable torque. Roll on in 4th gear from 30 is phenomenal.
Oh and a growl to die for and make heads turn...ha ha.
Pre delivery price is £177....

What do you get for your £177? I've looked on the website and it looks like a very expensive pipe to me

Do you have any picture of the other end of the pipe, is there some sort of super dooper air filter on it??

I thought it had a normal foam or paper filter at the end

I thought the same, to be honest. Nearly £200 for a bit of coloured pipe seems more than a little steep (maybe I'm missing something...).

I'm going to try out Cooperman's sub-30 quid induction mod first, everyone who's tried it and commented in the thread about it seems pleased with the results they've got, both performance and sound wise.

I think my first experience on this forum was seeing the guy involved with this being an absolute corkwad, even if this gave you a billion more bhp I wouldn't want to be involved in putting money in such a rude and cretinous bellends pocket.

can't personally comment on sellers personal affairs, but with regards to kit, yes is primarily a pipe and filter. From visual examination the pipe appears to have a variable internal diameter, so presume this gives a forced air flow ?.... I have no claim to knowing the end results, but am happy with it and if we all used the same modifications then modifying would be a stale affair. Apologise if I have inadvertently poked a hornets nest somehow, will try and keep my observations and assistance to myself in future.

I'm not having a go at you, it's good that people share their experiences with other members on the forum. I was only asking because the web site didn't really show the product which raised alarm bells with me that what you saw is what you get, a rather expensive piece of coloured pipe. If you're happy then that's the main thing, I've wasted (sorry invested) a lot more money than that over the years on items other people would think were crazy, each to their own, but £177, I'm out. (now where did I put all those old bits of pipe I had in the garage, I'm sure there's a similar mod which can be done for a lot less money..... :))

Thanks for the update on the product.
Where abouts does the air filter sit?
From the pics the pipe bends down and to the right, so filter is lower?

The AF chart lines make interesting reading too.
At peak it's running on a rich mixture, so wonder what fuel consumption will be like.

I have an AFR gauge on my supercharged MX5 with piggy pack EMB ECU and see the AF go rich under boost, and petrol needle move! :D

The position of the filter is behind the nearside fog light ... Some people have drilled out some holes to get some more air to the filter

The same mod can b done by using a 40 quid ebay kit that comes with very good coned filter and multi section pipe in chrome best pipework kit ive seen and fact that a filter is incuded is a bonus .just sayin but worth a look non the less. Its almost the same as a high end model .
