Hi guys and gals, got in my panda Wednesday evening and couldn't engage reverse gear. On removing the gaiter I found that the pick up reverse wasn't coming high enough to clear the stop, there's no adjustment in the linkage and I couldn't figure out how it had happened. It only needed to go up a few millimetres so with options shorts I borrowed a file and filed the outer edge of the pick up off slightly, now works perfect again.
Just wondered if anyone else had come across this problem and weather it was due to the fact it was like 35 degrees in my car? And how others rectified the problem?
