Might go the scrappie myself... Is it an easy fix... Take out blanking screws in car and literally replace with roof bars.. Looks like the front have plastic covers which hid the fixing bolts etc.

Presume there's no need to remove the head lining inside?

what tools are required for removing the roofrails?
no I don't have a set but I am busy scouring the scrappies for a set for my daughters car.

Hi,

You need a flat head screw driver to pop of the 4 covers and a 13mm socket to remove the 4 bolts ( 2 for each rail)

btw there is an 04 panda in the scrappy at renfrew (no bars though) if anyone needs parts. I've been through all the scrappies from Gartocharn to paisley and that was the only one I found.

I ended up doing a google search for 'fiat panda breaking' then just went through all the breakers, most of them have already sold the roof rails but its just about keeping a eye out.

Totally gutted today.

I have regularly seen an oldish (03) plate Panda near my local station with roof rails, and I was thinking of leaving a cheeky note saying if they dont use them and wanted some cash, I would buy them.

Today I saw the owner in an newish Panda (10 plate), New Orleans Blue with Silver Roof rails.

Might ask them where they part ex'ed it, and see if I can do a deal on the old ones.

So my misses keeps saying to me that she wont get into the car if I buy one of these roof racks, what do we think will it work with my Panda? I have a feeling it will, the feet remove so guess i can strap it to the roof rails! Old Skool!!

Been to a few scrappiest and never find any panda's, unusual as 10 years old... Always loads of puntos! Where do pandas go?

Difference is the type of driver, not as many Panda's written off around lamp post like Puntos
