Hi guys, after a bit of wisdom from you all, started my panda up earlier and the mileage started to flash, I've had no other issues with the car until now, just wondered if anyone else has had this, what it means, and what I've got to do to get rid of it?

It means you need a proxi alignment to be completed. Either at a dealer or using MultiECUscan.net software if you've got it 
Some people seem to think disconnecting the battery for 30min will sort it, might on a temp basis, but will probably return.

Spot on, cheers mate ill check it out when I get up later, although it wasn't flashing on the drive home this morning it might be worth getting for future flashings
It's a superb bit of kit, defo worth having for current and future issues and to have a play

I have a question please.
is this done with the Scart thingie that my other half got for the old polo and says fits the panda? in the polo it turned out the service light etc.
or do i need to buy him a new bit of kit for my new car?

I all depends upon the task you want to complete with the software, the lead my work for engine based tasks, but wouldn't for airbag warnings etc, you'd need a K-Line lead then (assuming thats not what you've already got). All the info with a better explination should be on the MES website.
