Hi all,

Bought a 100hp on Monday 08 plate in blue with 66k on the clock just after any advice on what to check on the car but also engine light came on today I'm guessing it might be lambda sensor maybe?

Also when do the cam belts need doing?

Any advice on where to get the 100hp serviced in Sussex?

Also is it normal for the steering wheel to peel? And I can't seem to get the blue tooth to work with my iPhone I guess I may have to read the manual!

yes the steering wheels do tend to peel.

I had problems connecting my iPhone.

make sure you hold down the red and green phone buttons on the wheel 1st until she shouts at you in Italian. Then switch on your Bluetooth and enter the 1234 pin, job done.

There is a lot of opinions about the Cambelt change. IMO it should be 5yrs or 70k which ever is soonest

Now would be good.

Will have to double check the history to see when or if it has been changed

Having checked my service history the car had a full service at 44k miles but no mention of a Cambelt change and then a small service at 55k miles might just have it changed to be on the safe side!

Also both rear wheels are wearing on the inside is this common?

I would. Origional fiat Schedual was 5 year 72k (4 years under extreme use). Was revised to 36k or 36months by the belt manufacture though due to a large number of premature failures. However I tend to stick to 50k / 3 years myself personally.

Is it an easy job as I might do it myself?

Now got a knocking and rumbling noise from The rear end
