I ordered a set of Koni dampers and springs for my 100hp 3 weeks ago. Not having recieved anything through the post I chased the company I ordered them from only to find out they are on back order and don't expect to get them until mid May.

I've tried a couple of other companies to see if they had them on the shelf, but neither carried them in stock and would have to order them from Koni - mid May.

Does anybody know if anybody has a set on the shelf, or could suggest an equal alternative for similar money.

Cheers

Highly doubt you will find anyone in this country carrying such stock items. Try contacting Larkspeed and ask for a realistic lead time from Holland.

Hi,

I have the same issue, wanted a pair of STR.T rear shocks and no one has them! tried all the companies that had them on a google search, tried the companies on ebay that have them advertised with still no luck. :bang:
In the end I emailed Koni direct and they all told me the same thing: First week in MAY!!:eek:

It's Larkspeed I have ordered them with and they are being told May by Koni. :bang:

I guess we just have to round to Demi's house and pinch them as he seems to have a spare set just lying around on the floor :p
First one there gets them......

Well another month on and I chased the supplier again today to make sure mid May was still the delivery date. Guess what :(

I'm now being told Koni are still having problems getting the new manufacturing site set up, so it will now be mid June and I can have my money back if I wish..... I don't want my money back, just want my suspension. Alternatively I could spend more money and get the sports suspension kit by the end of next week...

What do I do, wait and get some parts from a new factory and risk getting some of the first off parts, spend more money or get my cash back and wait a few months :confused::confused:

Any alternatives out there priced similar to the Koni's???

If you're not in too much if a hurry, I'm working with a company on coilovers to give koni a good run for their money!

.........and so the wait goes on

Got an e-mail from the supplier the other day telling me that Koni have once again put back the delivery of the order until mid July !!! That's 4 months now :( It's not the suppliers fault, but I'm a little unhappy with Koni.

Still have the option to get my money back, but that's not what I want. Any progress with the alternative...??

No update at the mo but am waiting on a date to get back into the garage to get them fitted to make sure there are no fitting issues etc.

The problem is that Koni will only manufacture the parts when they have multiple orders (which is understandable but your delay is totally excessive) and no stockist will have these parts on the shelf. Very frustrating...
