Hi guys fitted light to glovebox without getting to much into how its wired and rewiring it etc. the light is on when my headlights/sidelights are on and the problem is the light is shining through the panel gap at the bottom of the glovebox not the most major problem i know but just a bit distracting and annoying any suggestions that dont require rewiring finking of maybe getting felt any trying that.

As MEP suggested, cheap push switch (like you have on doors).

Or remove it and buy one of those cheap LED lights that they sell in pound shops for that sparkling "under the kitchen cabinet look", that you switch on when needed.

Or get some window draught excluder and seal the glovebox.
 
Why would you need a light in there? There's a light in the ceiling just above it.
