My nearside windscreen washer nozzle has been misbehaving for some time - peeing all over the place and the little bung on the right of the nozzle (looking from front of car) keeps easing its way out of the nozzle body. I've ordered a couple of replacements but I notice that it's a fiddly old task getting at the tubing and so on as it's all under the panel in front of the screen rather than being as easy to get at as in the past. Any helpful hints, please?

Squeeze it with pliers and give it an interference fit Done by a dealership on mine about 4 years ago and still fine

Thanks for that - squeeze underneath panel to get the old one out, transfer piping to new nozzle, ping new nozzle through panel?

It's been happening for months, and I've just pushed the little bung back into place when I get home but the filthy road conditions have made it very annoying in the last couple of weeks. It feels like one those jobs where you need thin fingers about six inches long but I hope all will be clearer when the replacements arrive.

Thanks, yes I realised that's what you meant after seeing the detailed guide.

should be one contiguous string - handy to have spares but squeezing the barrel of the offending nozzle seems to have done the trick (so far).
