First off I have a 2011 1.2 petrol, just about to have my second service so last thing I need is a problem!

I jumped in the panda last night and noticed before I put the key in the ignition, there was a very dim glow in the red light to the left of the temperature gauge. The light remained on and at the dim level when I started the car and persists even with locking car/starting up again.

The panda gets up to temperature normally and sits in the same place it usually does once running for a while.

Don't want to jump to replacing the sensor as it seems odd the illumination is so dim, any ideas? Thank you!

May have been an ECU glitch, the temperature gage is computer controlled. Jump starting might have affected the voltage enough to cause a reset.
