Hi Guys I have a Panda 4x4 1242cc climbing edition, I have looked at a lot of sites to find a set of wheels and tyres but when I put my REG in it says I have 165/65 R13 tyres and yet I actually have 185/65 R14. So the question being which one do I go for as I'm getting wheels and tyres what's your recommendation. Also what is the best online outlet to use..It's doing my head in :bang:

Thanks in advance.

Tommo0007

I have also used mytyres.co.uk twice to purchase wheels and winter tyres. tyres sent from Germany in a few days via DPD. Good price and service.

So your saying I can go for either 165/65 or 185/65 if im correct :D, I will check out mytyres tonight any perticular tyre brand? I hear so much good things about the Vredesteins..

Anyway thanks for the advice (y)

Stick with the tyres in the size already fitted. Tyre size finders using the reg. number never get it right for Panda 4x4s.
You won't go far wrong with Vredestein Quatrac 3 ordered through Mytyres.

Oh, and don't bother ordering wheels and tyres, just run Quatrac 3 on your original alloys all year round. They seem to cope with all temperatures and weather conditions and don't wear out too quick.

Cheers for that, I am ordering from them as i type ( going through Quidco for the 3% discount) I will go for the size that are on like you say but will get steel wheels and tyre combo. Just thought there is more chance me swapping tyres around if I do this. (y)

Hi Guys,
Fitted my new Vredestein Quatrac 3's and went out to a local quarry to see a guy down there. I was a bit apprehensive as it was through a wood on a dirt track which was like a bog due to the weather, any way half way down the hill I came face to face with a truck so I put the panda into reverse and sped back up the hill as though it was tarmac, I could not believe the grip.
So one happy bunny here :D

One question: I got my wheels/tyres from mytires, on the phone a lady said they came with wheel studs ( but none arrived ) should they come with studs?

Some makes of car, Mercedes Benz springs to mind, require different wheel bolts depending on whether the wheels are steel or alloy. The Panda does not. Maybe the telephonist was thinking along those lines.
