Hi guys Back again lol.

Just noticed yesterday The Red Steering wheels Light came on And stayed on When i came back home And then when i turned ignition off it went off so im assuming it can't be serious.

anyone any ideas?

From what I have heard (my Panda never had any issues with the steering) it's one of two things:

a) your battery is low, try boosting it's charge or replacing it (this is the better of the two things)
b) your electric steering needs replacing (time to mug the bank manager for his bonus)

In the 18 months of owning my Panda MJ, the red steering wheel light has come on twice during driving with no noticeable effect on the steering. The next time I started / stopped the engine, it did the initial check and then went off OK. If it stays on consistently, you will need it looking at.

Research on this forum pointed me towards the steering column motor, but thankfully I haven't had to persue it..... yet.
