Hi.
I am looking for lowering springs for my Panda 100HP.
Just the springs around 60mm?

Thanks in advance

Regards
Jonas

Why not just cut the springs with an anglegrinder While they're still on the car if you're really that intent on ruining the car?

Hi.

I know how to drive a low car :)
My Seicento are running 75/55mm :)

So yes i want 60mm.

Regards
Jonas

Panda 100hp are running on 25mm lowering springs default.
So the 30mm springs will only give 5mm :(

Kind regards
Jonas

No, panda 100hp are running on 20mm lowering springs default not 25mm, i have spax springs and my 100hp now is 25mm more low, my panda are running on 20+25= 45mm lowering springs default

I can recommend K+W coilover, am very happy with it.
Not -6cm lowering, but low enough for great looks whilst keeping some comfort

Sorry my mistake.
20mm default are the right answer.

So i need lowering springs for my panda 100HP - 60mm from default.
That mean ~ 40mm + 20mm = 60mm

Currently running Spax lowering springs (-25mm) on the 100HP and I am very happy with them.

Handling is very much the same but with a reduction in pitch and roll when braking and cornering. The drop in ride height also makes the car look better IMO.

I would not go any lower on springs alone though. If your looking for a serious drop then go down the coilovers route!

I can see that lowering the car would/could reduce roll - though I wonder if it's a perceptible difference or an imagined one that (if it's there at all) is the result of a stiffer, perhaps more progressive, spring. But I question whether lowering on its own - once again as opposed to a stiffer spring - would give a noticeable reduction in pitch, unless, of course, the front of the car's rubbing along the ground, which would certainly reduce any pitching.

You don't mention if you've changed the dampers.

Still on standard dampers with Spax springs.

I can understand the logic behind your thinking. Perhaps it just seems more stable under braking but there is a definate reduction or maybe a more progressive movement in pitch when braking hard.

everyone has his own opinion...!
There is no problem, lowering the 100hp 40mm on the default 100hp shock absorbers.

I know what i am talking about guys... This is not my first car...
I dont need hints :)

Please tell me if anyone knows where to find 60mm lowering springs :)

Thanks in advance

I've lowered my previous 3 cars just with springs & kept the dampers standard. Does it improve the car that much as it is fine with the factory setup..?

I'd have thought this is the worst combination for the 100HP - higher rate springs working against already weak dampers, plus very limited wheel travel -sounds very uncomfortable and bad for the roadholding as well as the ride. The general opinion seems to be that the best single mod is to increase the rebound damping on the back - mine should be fitted tomorrow so I'll find out - adjustable Konis on the front seem to be the next best mod, followed by these dampers and more progressive springs that reduce the ride height slightly.

Pretty much. The 500 suffers from the same issues, mine even worse due to having 16" wheels.

My plan in the future is to either fit a Koni sport kit or a set of Bilstein coilovers to my 500 to sort out the frankly rubbish suspension.

Have you considered FSDs? I don't follow the various 500 sections but I assume the Abarth area is full of chatter about them.

Well I'm of the opinion that if I'm going to spend all that money then I may as well make it handle quite well. Lately I've been taking the 500 for drives over the moors and the standard suspension really does ruin the experience. The Bilstein's are meant to be pretty good :)

The main reason behind fitting lowering springs was to improve the looks as I have always thought the car sat too high.

In regards to improvement it is very slight but still similar to the original set-up which I like.
