Hi all,

I finally decided that I'd had enough of the pathetic lighting provided by the fiat boot light.

I went out and purchased a set of white LEDs for the interior & used the wiring from the original light.

I also purchased a red LED strip to attach to the bottom of the boot lid - For extra visibility while I'm working from my car.

Rather than have the light come on automatically I decided to add a rocker switch so that I decide when they come on and off.

It doesn't look that bright in the photos but Its 100x better!

I hate electrics

That's a very nice idea!

I've seen that loads of cars these days have a red light on the inside of the doors as well, for visibility when they're open at night. Should be possibly to hook up without too much throuble.

Or stick a reflector on it, I guess

Just don't go reversing down any unlit roads, there'll be reports of UFOs
