I need to by a new remote keyfob, Fiat deal has said £250 seems expensive do all dealers charge the same. Reading some posts which are a couple of years only 100-170 seems about right.

Have you still got the old one? One suggestion is to buy a new fob from Ebay and swap the internals - you'd have to ring 'round all the dealers to answer your question

what is wrong with the old fob? Fiat are not so cheep, but is yours repairable by an auto locksmith (not FIAT)?

About £160-£200 is nearer the mark for a new remote key from a dealer

When i got mine the dealer charged about £135 for the key and £45 to pair it with the car. This was only a matter of two or three months back, note if you have the blue key, they no longer supply these. Only black keys but with either the blue or red badge
