Morning! Anyone know the part number for the aircon pump on a 100hp? Can't find anywhere that lists a compressor for a Panda 1.4 16v but guess they must be the same on other Fiat models so I'm better off searching for that. There are no visible part numbers on the unit itself.

Hi
Have a look here
There should be several models who have the same compressor

Sorry for the delayed response to this post and thanks for the previous replies. Have had no luck with the compressor issue and been running the car with the aircon off for a week. The dealer quotes part number 71785268 for the compressor but I can't find that anywhere online. Dealer quotes range from £450 to £480 new or £350 recon with £100 deposit on top until you return the old unit. I've found this compressor on a site for a Punto

http://www.autoairconparts.co.uk/Fi...-compressors-pumps-aircon-radiators-and-more/

Visually it looks identical to the Pandas and is for a 1.4 16v engine but on a Punto. The numbers are different and it says that a dealer would charge £280 for the part (I wish).

Could it be that Fiat have taken the same part and added a separate number just for the 100hp?

As is frustratingly normal, its very hard to find parts listed as for the 100hp.:(

Thats great thanks. So just to confirm, this was off a 100hp Panda?

Ok so thats the same compressor as pictured on the site for a Mk2 Punto but is the picture you've given a compressor off a Panda 100hp?

Would do but I'm always on this site on a mobile device and there doesn't seem to be an option to thank a post.

Where? Each post just has "reply" at the bottom with no other options.

I can see and use it in safari on both my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 :)
Ok found it now. Had the site in mobile mode and at the top it says "PC mode" so now I can see them, have ticked all the appropriate boxes but how do I now return to mobile mode?

Great thank. Full web mode is a PITA having to scroll all over the place.
