I've got a red badge to complete the red badge kit on my Panda - perfect size for the steering wheel air-bag.

Does anyone know if this badge comes off - I don't want to force it because of what is underneath.

thanks any info appreciated. I've stuck it on top but it stands a bit proud at the moment as the original is a domed-badge.

If its anything like the grande punto its crimped into the plastic of the air bag unit

i.e. either change that section of the steering wheel or apply a sticker.

yes indeed thanks for that linky - I did get an answer on that before looking back and I suspected it was pretty well moulded to the airbag cover so it doesn't come off. Its just a pain the original is dome shape and it doesn't take a decal over the top very well. I'll get some black foam backed badge adhesive tape and sort something out as neatly as possible.

It doesn't come off an you'll need to either replace the airbag or the airbag cover!

It can be done but I'm afraid the airbag is ruined after.

Well if thats the case then you should be able to remove the airbag cover and then ping the prongs on the back of the fitted badge to be able to remove it.
