Does anyone knows what exactly means this fault code?
The check engine light turnes on when the weather is cold and it turnes off, after two or three days at alone. This happen 5-6 times yearly.

According to the Fiat manufacturer specific code list I have,

P1172 = "Mixture 1 stength (multiplicative)" and/or "Self adaptive parameter TRA".

I believe these relate to LTFT (Long Term Fuel Trim) and STFT (Short Term Fuel Trim)
.

This is about mixture of petrol, right?

Not any issues at all.
Everything is ok for about 2000km that cel is on.

I cleaned maf, i changed the after market k&n air filter with an original one and i am waiting its response..

start with the simple things and try cleaning the throttle body flap (see stilo guides section)

any other issues with the car any issues cold starting cutting out ect?

Hi!

I have this code and problem with a cold starting - any ideas whats wrong?

What sort/age of Panda is it?
High mileage/ultra low mileage?
Code implies problem with adjusting fuel mixture to compensate for something, but hard to guess what without some more information.
Think I had same fault code with o2 sensor failure, but also had same or similar fault code with ECU wiring not making good contact.

if its mainly when cold I would look at replacing the MAP sensor BUT also get the battery tested a weak battery especially during cranking can cause voltage issues which confuses the ECU

Thanks for response. Maybe i should explain problem a bit more, because mechanic says it cant be MAP sensor - he says that then it should not work on a high rpm...

So I have a code P1172 and also P0520 (something with oil pressure sensor), there is installed LPG system. During the winter, the car starts normally, but between +5 and +20 it cant start from the first time - sometimes its the second and its dies, but then on a third its fine, sometimes its starts on first normally, sometimes i need 5-10 times. So its very different and depends on outside temperature. After cold start, the car drives normaly... only after driving on highway, when I stop, there are rpm jumps.

So after this explanation are you still think its MAP sensor?

Its starts on petrol - its worse when I drive on LPG and its started when installed LPG some months after. But the problem remains when driving just on petrol
