Hello all,..

My first post here and I need to pick some brains.
Just took ownership of my brothers 54' Panda. Within 5 mins of ownership probelms started.
The steering is playing up.. and yes I searched the forum before I posted.
Started with a horrible grinding noise that passed after a minute. Then on start up the wheel judders and makes a groaning noise then goes ok. Now on start up the steering warning light comes on and there is no power steering. Turn it off and all is ok again. These symptoms come and go depending.
Searching looks like the power steering motor. I'm just wondering if this is all it can be or are there other factors which could end up costing me. I am at a crossroads as whether to keep the car or not. Just cost me £540 to get it through it's MOT.... not chuffed to be honest. :bang:
