I'm getting an occasional clunking noise (quite loud) from the brake actuating mechanism on my 2010 Panda Eleganza. It doesn't happen all the time and seems to be triggered by going over a bump. It stops when the brake pedal is pressed and then restarts again when the pedal is released.

The noise seems to be coming from the transverse steel linkage that runs across the inside of the bulkhead. Nothing seems to be loose. Anyone else had this, and is there an easy fix?

I believe all Panda models have this brake 'slop' in the system that means we get to have the master cylinder on the left hand side, and not directly in front of the pedal on the engine side of the firewall............

I don't think there is a remedy for this!

Slop A lot of cars have this, not only the Panda.
