Just to let you know that those of you with a MJ diesel can rely on high miles OK. Mine passed the MoT on Friday, 2005 MJ with 124k miles on it (14k in the last 12 months).

Had to have 2 tyres recently, and the drop links had both gone on the front. They're now a consumable item as far as I'm concerend, £9.19 for both, £25 labour to fit.

The rear suspension bushes I was concerned about, and posted about last Nov. turned out to be the bushes in the rear shock absorber, nothing to do with the rear beam. I got a pair for less than £50 from shop4parts.

Very pleased with the last year's wear and tear and hope to get more miles out of it yet, especially since I had a new clutch at 119k in June. Averaging over 60 mpg too. The occasional 'EGR flow insufficient' warning comes on via the MIL, but I reset it and carry on, it's running fine as far as I'm concerned. :)

Thanks, good to know as last year I did 20k in my Sedici and the fuel was starting to kill me. I've just been getting a 2009 Panda MJ (8k on the clock) as I think I'll be doing the same mileage again, hopefully keeping more money in my wallet this year! :D

Yep, good to know. I am really enjoying my Panda, a brilliant bit of engineering, great to park and surprisingly roomy inside.

just got to get a bit of sound deadening in it though.

My daughter has just bought her first car, a second hand Daewoo Matiz. Not a bad car, but one of the few cars on the road that makes the Panda look big!
