Really stupid question but how do you get that little fuelly bar at the bottom of your posts

From the Fiat Forum homepage, click on User CP/Edit Signature, then paste this text:

*fuelly=uk]xxxxx[/fuelly] (replace the * with [)

where xxxxx is your fuelly ID number (get this from fuelly).

If you've more than one vehicle on fuelly, just repeat on a separate line.

Log in to fuelly and go to your vehicle page. Scroll down until you see this clickable link on the right hand side:

View all badges and stuff you can share

Click on this and you will see a 5 digit number in the example text - that's the one you want. Don't paste everything that's there; just use the number in the way I described in my first post.

i love people talking about reasons they got or did not get a car. I'd love to have a reason as to why i got mine. but basically it was the only one i could afford the insurance on. although im loving it now.

It's a good little motor

It has a great engine and gearbox. Brakes are good.
Suspension ok, a bit bouncy but good at absorbing speed bumps.

It may be a collaboration between citroën peugeot and Toyota , but in reality the mechanics are all Toyota.

The engine is great. Very rev happy. The gearbox is very long legged. 35 in 1st, 70 in 2, and over 90 in third  I think it's 68hp out of the 1.0 3cyl engine.

Interior is low rent. Mine has leather/alcantara seats, but the interior light only works from the drivers door. Boot is tiny. Only a 4 seater with no option of 5th seatbelt.

Still, these cars are cheap, and as a car to get me to and from work it's ace.
Like a panda, you can squeeze it into parking spaces most drive past.
I contract hire this one, and I pay £100 a month. They are even cheaper now.

I still am hankering after a Panda 4x4 though, even though I know it will be no good at overtaking, and my fuel bill will nearly double. It's just an itch I need to scratch. (y)

you forgot to say it's threpence hapenny for road tax :D

Ha ha! Yes. Actually it's free on contract hire. A new tax disk comes in the post.
I remember when I owned a c1 in 2007 I had to tax it, £35 back then (cheaper now £20) and insure it £129 fully comp. Even better was the insurance had £100 cashback so to tax and insure it for a year was £64

I've owned many cars over the past 23 years, lots of high performance and some pretty expensive things, but these small economical hatches make the most sense. I'll never be without one.

I know this is fiat forum, but the new KIA rio Eco model does nearly 90 mpg combined.
What with that and a 7 year warranty, Fiat had better get it's prices right on the new panda to compete with something like that. The rio looks great too!

I've been saying for about a year now that fiat need to sort out their warrantee. No longer competitive IMO.

Is that KIA a petrol or a diesel to return 90mpg?
