I mainly use this just to annoy my dad about how much petrol he gets through compared to me haha

i have no idea, im just driving like the average person. i may be a little more restrained on the throttle but not that much

I've been saying for about a year now that fiat need to sort out their warrantee. No longer competitive IMO.

Is that KIA a petrol or a diesel to return 90mpg?

+1

Mind you the bits on the current Panda (not sure about the new one) are pretty easy to get hold of being shared with the Punto, Seicento, Cinquicento, etc and I love the simplicity (no service indicator to worry about for example) but will the new one be as easy to work on?

Im back on fuelly now and am hoping to see an improvement in my figures now the binding issue has been fixed! It is handy and was great when I had the iphone as I could update it after filling up so no bits of paper and pen needed. Just need to figure out how to create a link on androids main menu!

The Kia's and Hyundais of the world have got round "brand snobbery" partially through the generous warranty's and assosciated marketing. Surely its a no-brainer for Fiat to do the same, as at the moment it just looks like they have no confidence in their reliability which just reinforces peoples poor perception of FIAT particularly when prices are discounted (its cheap because its crap mentality). I would say my Panda is better built than our Astra, yet its not FIAT offering a "lifetime warranty" (I wonder what the small print looks like on that lol). Another thing about the KIA warranty is it is a 7 year manufacturer warranty compared to the 2 year Fiat manufacturer warranty with the 3rd year dealer warranty. With the Panda, GP, and 500 helping bring more people to the Fiat brand, surely slapping a 5 year warranty on them at launch (particularly the EVO and 500) could only have attracted more people to the marque. Its not like the components on the 500 and Panda (and also the GP/Evo to an extent) arent proven with the basic FIRE engine design for example being older than I am!
