... +60bhp probably, as those are the multispoke Speedlines - unusual car. Waaay too big though, obviously! Those were the days, when only farmers knew about Subaru's...
Well those were the days after normal people actually found out about them. The Legacy Turbo was the first properly quick Subaru and although it never sold as well as the Impreza it was still successful in getting Subaru away from the farm and onto the road :)

For that you could always transplant some Integrale running gear into it :)

Y10 and the Panda share floorpans don't they?

Now that is a true feat of after-market engineering - quite remarkable. We should celebrate the fact that this sort of project can still happen in this country, as it's only a matter of time before the anti-modifying brigade put a stop to all this shananakins (sp?), as is happening in Germany with their ever tightening TuV rules. Yintegrale looks superb though.

Might leave mine where it is now though I think - quit whilst I'm ahead, springs to mind...

Stuff like that Y10 is truly impressive but will have cost a lot of money to build with no chance of getting that money back when it comes to the time to sell.

So whilst anything is possible if you throw enough money at it, if you really crave more performance, buy a faster car.

Well, considering it's a one off and a very good one at that, I think you've got a good chance of getting a fair chunk of your money back. But I don't think the sort of person who does that does it to sell it ona few years later :)

and if you need any advice on putting a turbo on the 100hp ive recently finished mine 150BHP and a pretty insane drive to be fair but twice the fun it was before!

I have a few questions regarding the above:

How much did it cost to do the conversion,..?

Where did you have it done, yourself or a company..?

What MPG do you get over the original.?

The 0-60 time..?

Insurance..?

Can you add some pic's if it.

i ended up with manifold/inkectors from abarth/custom downpipe/go-tec standalone. it goes about 150 bhp or just under and ive yet to meet something i couldnt overtake or at least keep up with! the torque is pretty brutal and had to change the clutch for it to cope. But done around 2k on the turbo and can go balls out now its settled in. The torque steer raises a smile everytime! apart from the fact that older style panda's/100hp id done right can look so freakin sexy! mines caused quite a bit of interest shall we say......... lol

A fair chunk, well, not much of it tbh. I have a friend who has sunk near on 50K into building a mega MK1 MR2 Twincharger. If she ever sold it, it'd be worth, what 10K?

I think you are right in that if you make that kind of commitment then you are not going to sell the car on. Best, though to pick something a bit more special in the first place to play with though, I think. Not sure a Panda fits this bill really. Ditto the Y10, impressive though it is.
