Fiat Badges Panda swap complete "Blue Centenary set" for current style Red fiat type

WARNING- anally fussy aesthetic content:

I have a metallic red '55 Panda 4x4 and I have decided I would quite like a complete set of Red current style badging for it to replace the blue Fiat Centenary badges issued one vehicles around 2005.

Therefore - anyone with a blue or black car (for example) that would fancy a complete blue and silver set of centenary badges you will receive a matching set of:

- Bonnet badge (80mm)
- rear hatch badge (80mm)
- 4x wheel badges (50mm)
- 1x steering wheel badge (35mm)
- and even 1x remote key fob tiny badge (12mm)

Moreover to sweeten the deal on this swap I will:
a) pay the postage (on my badges and your badges)
b) re-sticker my badges with foam-backed motor vehicle self adhesive tape, so they are ready for you to stick straight on when you receive them.

let me know if anyone is interested to do a swap on the basis you are confident you can get your badges off safely without damaging them.:worship:

Well spotted thanks - I may well do that, then can see if local dealer can supply a steering wheels and key fob badge to complete the new look. I can even then use the packaging to clean-up, re-sticker and sell my mint blue ones in the presentation box to help part-fund the upgrade.

Many thanks for the link. have a good w/e

I'm sorry, but no one on here has ever (to my knowledge) put blue badges on a new car. Nobody wants to make their car look older. I think you're on a hiding to nowhere trying to sell those badges for anything more than 99p

Mine returned from the body shop quite uniquely with a red badge on the front and a blue one on the back.

I didn't like it much though.

Good point 306 Maxi - but might have to buy new and sell my old ones on ebay - anyone missing a blue one might want to replace like with like. Thought they might hold some value/significance to enthusiasts as a) they are the centenary badge, b) they would look better on a blue car than a red one, but point taken about making newer car look older/dated

I think you're missing the point. Perhaps in 20 years the badges might be worth something, but today they're worth nothing.

Another good point there 306 Maxi and as my father always used to say with bikes and motors "keep it original son" (or at least keep the original parts to refit in the future)

Got the lot (externally) from various ebay sources - all red-badged up now, but still looking for one a suitable size for the steering wheel air-bag and that's it, job done.

Re: Fiat Badges Panda swap complete "Blue Centenary set" for current style Red fiat t

As I'm sure someone else has mentioned, the badge is intergral to the steering wheel. The best you'll do is a sticker if you don't want to replace the airbag.

Re: Fiat Badges Panda swap complete "Blue Centenary set" for current style Red fiat t

I shall do that as whatever goes on there will hit you in the face if the airbag goes off!

Exactly, and at £200 mph which is why you shouldn't place stickers on it. I'd just get a replacement bag off of ebay and then sell yours on as well (y)

The cover won't hit you in the face, it hinges out if the way

Correct but anything placed on it that shouldn't be probably will, and will probably hinder correct deployment then causing the possibly of it not hinging out of the way. Airbags should never be modified, including placing stickers on them!

Tbh I think stickers wold be OK, but badges would definitely be a no no.

Why? You often seen the no smoking stickers and other crap taxi drivers dangerously slap all over passenger airbags, surprised they pass MOTs like it!

Because a sticker is not going to cause injury :) Like I said if it was a badge with a bit of weight behind it then I'd be worried. But a sticker? Not really.

It will if the bloody bag doesn't deploy correctly as a result of it, which is a very likely possibility!
