Just installed new rear discs and pads on the Cross. What a lot of dirt and corrosion for only 21,000 miles of driving.
Anyway, the lever pulls up a bit higher than I'm entirely happy with. Does anyone know the recommended number of handbrake clicks for fully on for a rear disc equipped Panda?
Failing that, does anyone with a rear disc equipped Panda, who is happy with the adjustment of their cable, want to just go outside, pull the handbrake on fully and count the number of clicks for me?
For your information, on my car the brake is fully on at 8 clicks. That might be OK, I'm just not sure.
Thanks!

Doc,

Hi, checked my 4x4 and i have adjusted the handbrake in the past, number of "clicks " circa 5. I do not like too much travel (personal preferance) maybe worth keeping yours at 8 until new pads and discs worn in then adjusting again later.

Hope this helps.

Regards
