Anyone had to replace said part? Any tips/advice on how to do it?

I've done most repairs to cars over the years, cam belts, brakes, shocks etc so doubt that it's beyond my capabilities as such, I've just never had to touch an anti roll bar.

MOT man reckons that there is slight play in the O/S ball joint connecting rod part, I couldn't really feel any movement in there to be honest, he still passed it though. He marked it down on the 'advisory' so I best not take it back like that next year.

Tbh I think it is really as simple as it looks. Remember to do both sides and don't buy crappy Fiat OEM parts.

It is the wife's car, she don't like spending money on more parts than necessarily, for example on previous car she only bought the one rear shock that was knackered, despite my claims that the one on the other side should have been replaced too.

So the OEM parts are crap hey? Which ones do you suggest?

If I were to name just one brand I'd pick Febi, but pretty much anything will be better than OEM.
