hi i am in need of a gearbox mount for my 58 plate multi jet . can anyone give me a dealers price . and does anyone know if the mount from the other pandas are the same . on a similar subject are the gearboxes the same throughout the range . thanks any information welcome.

Have you contacted the dealer. Your cars still under warranted isn't it?

i bought the car with no warranty. or history. i just noticed tonight as there were strange noises coming from the n/s today and when i came home on opening up the bonnet , noticed the engine had dropped ,on further inspection the mount had snapped and it was being held in place with one bolt . so ive not had time to price things up at the dealers .

Car comes with a 3rd year dealer warrantee as standard. Yours is Sept 2008> registered so you've still at least a month remaining.

it was bought as accident damage so warranty will be void. had a nightmare today trying to get the correct part , seems its part number 51843051. it has been modified to replace 51811923. i can get one for a petrol but have been told conflicting info . some people say the petrol and diesel gearboxes use the same part others say they are different.

Tried calling around a few scrappiest to see if they're breaking any. Alternatively main dealer is your only opton I'd have said.

the bracket im looking for looks the same as the one in this photo ( if it works) taken from ebay.
