Hi all
Dose anybody know if there is a proper panda workshop manual for the 03 to present models ?? I have purchased 2 E-learn ( ? ) CD's but find them very short on drawings and info.
I want to do some DIY servicing as garage prices are rather expensive & I need to save some cash....
Cheers

Thanks lads seems the only way now is to take some photoes as I strip to repair & build my own library
Whats the matters with Haynes books, they used to do some mega manuals, has the Internet killed them off ??
Cheers

They only make them when a certain quantity of a car has been sold, and even then it's not a two day job o produce one don't forget.

And not all manufacturers will allow them to write one for their models.
Like Jaguar and my X Type.

Some manufacturers produced CD roms for their dealers. (usually called TIS)
These usually cover all the models at a certain time, though most have dropped this for an online subscription service.

There are quite a few floating about the internet (and copies can get sold on Ebay, tut tut!), though I'm not sure if Fiat made one.

A little harder to understand than a Haynes, but can be very useful.

Hi ,
yes it's a common problem with modern vehicles,

with my fleet of FIAT's,
I've spent the £20 on the "lindsay porter" manual which covers a lot of the FIAT cars , and then you can have a flick through to see which particular method is relevant to what you find needs attention on your panda,
"haynes" manuals are very poor now compared to 15/20 years ago, there are regular references to "exchange/ main dealer only / uneconomic.."

where as years ago it would give all the info for rebuilding starter motors , alternators, wiper assemblies,ETC
now a fair portion of the book is "MOT tests and the like".

maybe go on ebay and buy a 2nd hand Punto manual for £5 delivered and then see what else you need to resolve,
all the best,
Charlie

Hi there, yes I agree - particularly about Haynes manuals - not like they used to be but then modern cars aren't like the old ones! I've been pleased with the Barchetta manual I've been able to get from FF; I've also got a Pandamonium 100HP for which I'd like a similar manual so I'll keep a look out for any new info. Regards
