Mine's had the same fault for a few months now and have changed the turbo pressure sensor.....twice. The first being a non-standard part which seemed to fail after about 20 miles, at the dreaded 3,500 revs on full throttle. Tried again with a FIAT part which lasted a bit longer but eventually the fault re-occurred, again at 3,500 full throttle.

At some stage while discussing this with a mechanic at work he asked when the fuel filter was last changed and I had to admit I couldn't remember. It was possible it had never been changed so a new one went in. It smoothed things out a bit at low revs as when starting from cold it would often be really sluggish and when rolling up to lights with the clutch down the revs would drop to 400 then whip up to about 1,000 revs. So that was sorted but once again.

Might have to try the EGR valve instead. Anyone know if it's fairly easy to locate and replace?

The EGR is top, right, rear of engine as you stand in front of the car and is a dog to get at. You can not see what you are doing and must do it all by feel and/or mirrors. I did mine from underneath whilst I had the gearbox off for the clutch and even with the 'box off access was awful.

OK spoke too soon!!! Lamp cleared itself a couple of journeys after changing the sensor, did a few journeys and now it is back again! Changing the MAP seems to have fixed the P0106 code, which is good, and it also doesn't go into limp mode anymore. I need to plug the reader in again but I am guessing the P0238 is still coming up now and again...more work to do!
