Hi all

Just Curious to know - We have an original 54 reg 1.1 active panda and it has a cigarette lighter - i have no idea if it works, as ive never tried it, however it looks well used so i guess it does (We bought the car used)

What I would like to know is - would this lighter socket be powerful enough to safely charge a mobile phone over a long period? Or is it likely to fuse the circuit?

I believe mine says maximum 180w, a mobile phone charge should use no more than 10w, so you're more than fine. You can even power laptops off it.

Don't however try and plug your toaster into it :p
