Hi,

I want to buy a Panda and have seen the Guacamole Green colour.

Am I correct in thinking the newest car would be around the 2004 mark for this colour?

I'm having a major dilemma, I can buy a green panda for around £2500 (Elegenza or Dynamic) according to Autotrader or I can get a brand very new one for around £5500.

If it was not for the epic green colour I would pick up a brand new one

So would a 2004 car be reliable or is there any issues compared to a more recent version.

If you can afford the car new I'd buy new. You've got a warranty, plus the new cars have lower road tax.

when I was looking I was thinking of getting something a bit newer than 6 or 7 years old and the price differential between 2nd hand and new was around 1500, at which point I decided new for the reasons 306Maxi gave, warranty, lower road tax and the fact that hopefully nothing would go wrong with a new car. There's also that new car smell.

Thanks,

This would be my forth Fiat, I have had a brand new 2002 Punto, Used Stilo and a Used Stilo Multiwagon.

Currently I have a Peugeot 307 SW but now have zero need for it.

If I get a new Panda it will be my first red badged Fiat.
