For the 100hp I know that lots of people here have played around with the rear suspension to try and reduce the shock impact effect that you get from large bumps in the road. I'm also trying to reduce this as it is one of the cars biggest negative's. The one thing I would like to know is, has anyone just changed or modified the bump stops without changing any other part of the suspension and what results did you get?
Thanks

When you say modify the bumps stops, do you mean shorten them?

I lost a bump stop on a car recently and only found out after the damper had split from over compressing.
The rod/valve had hammered into the bottom of the damper body and nearly came all the way through.

I bought a set of bump stops from the diesel panda, they are much shorter than the 100hp ones. This worked out well after fitting the lowering springs, seemed pointless to have to mess about with the standard ones as they are £26 each to replace whereas the diesel ones were £10 each

koni dampers with eibach springs and cut down bump stops with a good camber setup completely negates the pogo effect and turns your 100hp into a fast go kart with old mini style handling!
